Welcome!
Hello Everyone!
I am so excited for the school year, it has been a pleasure to get to know your children over the past few weeks. The kids will be learning how to spell a lot of words this year and will have a spelling test every Friday. Spelling lists will be given to students to take home on Monday morning. In addition, this blog will provide a PDF of the spelling lists for the year, interactive games and videos to help your child study. In the past, this blog has been a great way for the kids to learn their spelling words in a fun and interactive way. I am excited to use it again this year with all of you! As always, feel free to reach out to me at anytime with any questions or concerns. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR WORKING WITH OUR SCHOLARS AT HOME! 😊
Thank you,
Ms. Meyer
P.S. Spell and Gravity are Ms. Meyer's favorite spelling practice games!
Spelling Lists
The spelling lists for the year can be found on this link. If your child misplaces his or her spelling list, simply scroll through here to find it. Each list is based on the story we are reading in class. Spelling words are passed out on Mondays. The students should study each night and will take a spelling test on Friday. *Vocabulary words will not be tested but it is encouraged to review them with your child to further their vocabulary knowledge.
