This week our focus is on plural nouns. Plural nouns indicate more than one noun (person, place, thing, or animal). When we write plural nouns we add the suffixes es or s.
Example: Root Word: plant
Suffix: s
When we add the suffix to the root word, we change it's meaning. plant+s=plants
